A reference you can read and a deck that drills you
Every flashcard and quiz question in AnatomyDeck is generated from the same 783 structure pages you can browse, so an answer you miss always has a page behind it to read.
Search all 783 structures
Type part of a name, a tag, or a region and the list filters as you go. Search is free and never gated, so the whole reference is one field away.
Browse by region, system or type
Switch the grouping between 7 body regions, 10 systems, and 10 structure types — muscles, bones, nerves, vessels, organs, glands, ligaments, joints, cartilage, and spaces — with live counts.
SM-2 spaced repetition
Rate each card Again, Hard, Good, or Easy. The button shows the interval it will set before you tap, intervals grow 1 day → 6 days → ease-scaled, and lapsed cards come straight back.
Quizzes across 16 question types
Four-choice questions on innervation, origin, insertion, action, blood supply, drainage, skull exits, nerve roots, hormones, contents, landmarks and more, each with an explanation and a link to the structure page.
A daily round, free every day
Ten questions a day, drawn deterministically from the corpus so the round is the same on every device and rotates at midnight. One round per calendar day keeps it a habit, not a grind.
Streaks and weak-spot targeting
A 7-day dot strip and streak count on the Today tab, per-deck New / Learning / Mature splits, and a practice mode that serves the questions you get wrong more often than right.
Reference pages with clinical relevance
Each page carries a high-yield line, an overview, labelled facts, related structures you can tap through, and — on 741 of 783 entries — a clinical relevance note. 80 entries include an established mnemonic.
Your pace, your device
Pick a new-card allowance from 5 to 50 a day, set one optional local reminder, choose light, dark or system theme, and reset progress whenever you like. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.
Gross anatomy, counted honestly
These are the exact contents bundled in the app — not a projection. Flashcards and quiz questions are generated from the structure pages, so every answer is a fact you can go back and read in context.
Structure types: 226 organs, 150 muscles, 145 vessels, 84 nerves, 62 anatomical spaces, 38 ligaments, 37 bones, 33 glands, 5 cartilages, 3 joints. Systems covered: cardiovascular, nervous, muscular, digestive, respiratory, reproductive, urinary, skeletal, endocrine, lymphatic. Text only — AnatomyDeck contains no illustrations, photographs, or 3D models.
One deck per body region
Decks follow the regions you are taught in, and each one tracks its own due count and maturity. The Upper limb deck is free forever — 267 cards is a real term of revision, not a teaser.
| Deck | Structures | Flashcards | Access |
|---|---|---|---|
| Upper limb | 73 | 267 | Free forever |
| Lower limb | 71 | 250 | Premium |
| Thorax | 125 | 422 | Premium |
| Abdomen | 165 | 566 | Premium |
| Pelvis | 107 | 369 | Premium |
| Back | 21 | 58 | Premium |
| Head & neck | 221 | 647 | Premium |
| Total | 783 | 2,579 | — |
Every structure in every region has a free reference page regardless of deck access. The deck lock only affects flashcard review.
Read it, drill it, prove it
Find the structure
Search a half-remembered name or browse by region, system, or type. Open the page for the high-yield line, the labelled facts, and the related structures around it.
Review the deck
Open your region's deck, tap to reveal, and rate the card honestly. The scheduler stacks tomorrow's queue for you and caps how much new material arrives each day.
Test under pressure
Take the daily ten, then practise by region, system, question type, or purely on the questions you keep missing. Every result links back to the page that explains it.
Built for anatomy students, not clinicians
The first release targets gross anatomy coursework, lab exams, and spotters — the stage where you have to produce a name, an attachment, or a nerve supply from memory.
The reference is free. Premium is the drilling.
Unusually for a study app, the entire reference library stays free — all 783 pages, all browsing, all search. Premium is about how much you can drill.
Reference, forever
- All 783 structure reference pages
- Full search and browse by region, system & type
- The Upper limb deck — 267 spaced-repetition cards
- One 10-question quiz round every day
Every deck, unlimited practice
- All 7 regional decks — 2,312 more flashcards
- Unlimited 15-question practice rounds, any time of day
- Practice by region, system, question type, or weak questions
- Mastery tracking across the whole library
Premium is planned as a weekly or yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. No prices are published here — the plans and your local price are shown in the app before you buy anything.
There is no server to send anything to
AnatomyDeck stores your review schedule, streak, and quiz history in local device storage under three keys, and that is the whole data story. There is no account, no cloud backup, and no analytics or crash-reporting SDK in the app. The one optional daily reminder is a local notification. Study content is compiled into the app itself, which is why it works with no signal.
Free anatomy study guides
Evergreen walkthroughs of the things anatomy students actually get stuck on — useful whether or not you ever install the app.
