Sharpen your typing. Watch the WPM climb.
Kestvi is a typing practice studio for your phone — timed sprints, word runs, and quote tests with live WPM, accuracy to a tenth, and a pace chart for every run. Offline, on-device, no account.
Coming soon to Google Play — not yet downloadable.
Three keystrokes from idle to insight
No lessons to unlock, no curriculum to follow. Kestvi is built for the spare minutes you already have — pick a run, type, read the story your numbers tell.
Build your run
Timed sprint or word run, common words or quotes, punctuation and numbers on or off. Your favorite setup is saved as the default, one tap from the home screen.
Type with live feedback
Correct and missed characters are marked as you go, with live WPM and accuracy above the text — and haptic feedback on your terms. No noise, no clutter.
Read your numbers
Net and raw WPM, accuracy to a tenth of a percent, a consistency score, your pace curve over the run, and the keys that slowed you down.
Every run, built to order
Short enough for an elevator ride, long enough to find your rhythm — and honest about errors either way.
- Timed sprints
- 15, 30, 60, or 120 seconds against the clock. The 15-second dash is a reflex check; two minutes is where consistency gets tested.
- Word runs
- 10, 25, 50, or 100 words at your own pace. No timer pressure — the run ends when the words do.
- Common words
- Practice on the words you actually type: a Top 200 list for pure speed, or a Top 1K list for variety that still feels natural.
- Quotes
- 81 passages from writers, scientists, and leaders — short, medium, or long — for practice that reads like real sentences, capitals and all.
- Punctuation & numbers
- Flip two toggles and your word runs start sprinkling in commas, periods, capitals, and digits — the characters that quietly wreck real-world accuracy.
- Error modes
- Freedom mode lets you push past mistakes and keep your flow. Stop mode refuses to advance until you fix them — strict, and very good for you.
Stats that tell you what to fix
A single WPM number hides more than it shows. Kestvi splits your speed into the parts you can actually work on.
Net, raw, steady — and honest
- Net WPM — the standard five-characters-per-word measure, with uncorrected errors subtracted. The number that counts.
- Raw WPM — everything you typed, errors included. The gap between raw and net is your error tax.
- Accuracy to a tenth — 96.4% and 99.1% feel the same in the moment. They are not the same result.
- Consistency score — how steady your pace was across the run, so you can tell a smooth 60 from a jittery one.
- Pace over time — a chart of your WPM through the run shows where you surged and where you stalled.
- Per-key stats — every key's hit rate and speed, aggregated across runs, so your weakest keys have nowhere to hide.
Momentum you can scroll back through
Improvement at the keyboard is slow and real. Kestvi keeps the receipts.
Bests, history, and a streak worth protecting
- Personal bests for every combination of mode, duration, and content — your 30-second sprint record doesn't compete with your 100-word run. New bests get confetti.
- 500-run history with a full detail view for every run — pace curve included. Delete one, or clear everything, whenever you like.
- Trend charts that turn scattered sessions into a visible direction.
- Daily streaks — current and longest — with a daily goal you set yourself. Three runs a day by default; dial it up when you're ready.
- Share a result when a run deserves witnesses.
A studio, not a classroom
The test screen is yours to tune: a line, block, or underline caret; three text sizes; dark, light, or system theme; haptic feedback you can switch off; and defaults that remember exactly how you like to practice.
- Caret style · line, block, underline
- Test text · three sizes
- Theme · dark, light, system
- Haptics · on or off
Your practice history is nobody's business
Kestvi is private by design: no account, no analytics, no tracking. Every word list and quote ships inside the app, every result stays on your device, and the only system permission it asks for is vibration — for the haptics. Airplane mode is a perfectly good practice room.

Questions before the countdown
When is Kestvi available?
Kestvi is being prepared for release and is coming soon to Google Play for Android. It is not downloadable yet. Check the developer page for the listing once it goes live.
What practice modes does Kestvi have?
Two modes: timed sprints of 15, 30, 60, or 120 seconds, and word runs of 10, 25, 50, or 100 words. You type either common English words (a Top 200 or Top 1K list) or one of 81 quotes in short, medium, and long lengths, and you can mix punctuation and numbers into word runs. Two error modes are available — Freedom lets you continue past mistakes, Stop makes you correct them before moving on.
How does Kestvi measure typing speed?
Kestvi uses the standard five-characters-per-word convention. Net WPM subtracts uncorrected errors from your gross pace, and raw WPM shows everything you typed. Each run also reports accuracy to a tenth of a percent, a consistency score based on how steady your pace was, live WPM while you type, and a pace-over-time chart afterwards.
Does Kestvi work offline or need an account?
Kestvi is fully offline. All word lists and quotes are bundled with the app, results are stored on your device, and there is no account to create or sign in to.
Can I see which keys slow me down?
Yes. Kestvi records per-key stats — how often each key is hit correctly or incorrectly and how long it takes — for every run, and aggregates them across your history so you can see which keys cost you speed and accuracy.
How does progress tracking work in Kestvi?
Kestvi keeps a personal best for every combination of mode, duration, and content, stores your last 500 runs with a full detail view for each, and tracks daily practice streaks — current and longest — against a daily goal you can adjust (three runs a day by default). New personal bests get a confetti celebration, and you can share any result.
Does Kestvi show ads or track me?
Kestvi has no analytics and no tracking. Your practice history stays on your device, the only system permission it requests is vibration for haptic feedback, and you can delete any run — or your whole history — at any time.
